Who We Are
Looking To Jesus Christ
With much gratitude to God I wish to share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour – and also to showcase His glory and God’s faithfulness in doing what He had promised He would do. Like the apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ in Bible times and even until now the work of ministry can be aptly called:
“The doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes”, Psalms 118:23
The story of The King’s Castle Church is no different. God has really blessed us. I say thank you to God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit! Hallelujah!!! The Lord has done marvellous things for us. We have experienced the blessing of the Lord in:
- The spiritual development of the congregation
- Salvation of souls
- A vibrant Church with anointed WORD and worship at every service
- Blessing of the Lord on our congregants i.e. new marriages material wealth fruits of the womb academic success etc.
- Miraculous healing of some individuals
- Growth of our Newcastle and Sunderland churches
- A Prayer Fellowship started in South Shields with Sunday Service
- 7 House Groups established in various locations in and around Newcastle
- Our Women’s Fellowship whohave organised conferences with a great results
- Our open air Crusades and Outreaches – taking us into a higher dimension with greater impacts in Newcastle Sunderland South Shields and further afield
- Our own building purchased in Byker Newcastle
As theologians say the last chapter of the book of the Acts of the Apostles in the Bible has no Amen at the end of it – unlike most New Testament books of the Bible. This implies that the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ which the Acts of the Apostles was about has not ended. The apostles and Church leaders of old passed the baton on to newer generations to continue the work of spreading the Gospel and doing the works of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit leads.
The Challenge Ahead
Like Joseph God’s hand is upon us to use us for His signs and wonders in this place and ‘in the land we do not know before whose language we don’t understand’.
“”This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.””
Psalms 81:5
We have received fresh impetus to go and achieve more for God this year and in years to come. We believe God to strengthen us all so that we can pray better preach better worship better evangelise better and enjoy God’s blessing. The work ahead requires a lot of prayers from all of our members supporters and partners alike as we seek to fulfill our part of the Great Commission:
“”And He said to them Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature””
Mark 16:15
We firmly believe that the Gospel is for all people and we have to preach to them so that they can be saved:
“”For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?””
Romans 10:13-15
As it is written ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!’ Our burden and our assignments are important and we have to embark on our mission immediately for the cause is priceless worthy and urgent. He also said:
“”Be it known therefore unto you that the salvation of God is sent to the Gentiles and that they will hear it””
Acts 28:28
For them to hear the Gospel we have to go and deliver the message. We wish therefore to enlist your prayers support offerings friendship and advice as we proceed to do the bidding of our Master Jesus Christ.
Our motto: “…making Jesus Christ known and Him alone”
God bless you all,
