Our Beliefs

We believe there is one God Creator of all things infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons – Father Son and Holy Spirit – and that God is omnipotent omnipresent and omniscient.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God was conceived of the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary was crucified died and was buried and was resurrected on the third day. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father as true God and true Man.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is God and the third person of Trinity. We also believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ to convict men of sin and to instruct guide indwell and empower the believer for godly living and service throughout the church age.

HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM 

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth and in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4) in the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8- 10) and the evidence of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.

THE TRINITY

We believe in one God – Father Son and Holy Spirit – the Creator of all things.

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and that it is inerrant.

ETERNAL JUDGEMENT

We believe in the resurrection of the dead the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.

SALVATION

We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. His shed blood and resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe in Him and confess that Jesus is the Christ – the Son of God. And only such who receive Him by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and then become the children of God. We believe that man’s good works cannot justify and qualify him for salvation.

WATER BAPTISM

We believe in water baptism by total immersion as a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. It is the evidence of an outward declaration of our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  This means that we are buried and resurrected with Him.

HOLY COMMUNION

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a sacred service of remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ’s death and as such all believers and only believers should share it.

HOLINESS

We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit and we believe in personal holiness and purity of heart and life.

HEALING

We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and that healing is included in redemption.

THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the Christian’s hope of the soon coming personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
