Statement of Faith

GOD: We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.

JESUS CHRIST: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, buried, and resurrected on the third day. He ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true Man.

THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit is God and the third person of Trinity. We also believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ and to convict men of sin, instruct, guide, indwell and empower the believer for godly living and service during the church age.

HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM: We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8- 10), and the evidence of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.

TRINITY: We believe in one God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit; The Creator of all things.

THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and it is inerrant.

ETERNAL JUDGEMENT: We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

SALVATION: We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. His shed blood and resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe in Him and confess that Jesus is the Christ - the Son of God. And only such who receive Him by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and then become the children of God. We believe that man's good works cannot justify and qualify him for salvation.

WATER BAPTISM: We believe in water baptism by total immersion as a testimony of death to sin, and resurrection to a new life. It is the evidence of outward declaration of our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This means that we are buried and resurrected with Him.

HOLY COMMUNION: We believe that the Lord's Super is a sacred memorial service of remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ's death and as such all believers and only believers should share it.

HOLINESS: We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness and purity of heart and life.

HEALING: We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the Christ, and that healing is included in redemption.

THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST: We believe in the christian's hope of the soon coming, personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
