Remembrance Day Service
On this centenary, the King’s Castle Church remembered those who had been lost to war and their families. While some of us have not individually lost anyone to war, the peace we experience today is the result of the sacrifices which have been made by brave men and women in the past.
We must never forget the sacrifices people have made for the life we now enjoy. This resonates closely with the sacrifice Christ made on the cross to save us from sin and give us a hope and a future in salvation.
Many wore poppies for the remembrance day in honour of our veterans.
“For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life[a] for his friends.”
John 15:13 (TPT)
