A disciple of God puts God first in everything including finances. Disciples serve. Becoming a disciple is the way to unlock and find out the gifts of God within you. Discipleship is essential for continuity. If Jesus had no disciples, we wouldn’t have the gospel today. You and I should be committed disciples in any church we attend. The one who serves is greater than the one who seemingly leads. We should have a heart for service. The Things of God require sacrifice. We do not belong to ourselves as Christians. We need to always remember this and God never forgets our sacrifices.
