God’s word may be corrective and correction is usually painful but it is good for you. Those that lay up treasures in Heaven are wise. It is important to realise that some things are temporary, such as natural things, while other things are spiritual, or eternal. God’s love for the world was so that we might obtain eternal life, more valuable than riches (John 3:16, NIV). Your life is worth more than what you own, do not let material possessions possess you. When you become saved, you must become involved in God’s work. All that we have is God’s and we are to use it for God’s kingdom and glory.
