Christians many times enter into curses by engaging in religious practices without bearing fruits. In the beginning, God blessed mankind after the creation of all things. However, the blessings came with a command to be fruitful. Man fell to the deception of the Devil in the garden of Eden and that brought a curse that suspended the blessings he’d been given at creation. God’s blessings were restored through Jesus Christ and those blessings were communicated to Abraham who would become an ancestor of Jesus Christ. When you become born again through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you get delivered from the curse of sin brought about by the Devil’s deception. three reasons for curses in believers’ lives are (1) violating someone, (2) doing the work of God deceitfully, (Jeremiah 48:10, NKJV), (3) Disobedience to God, (Genesis 3:17, Deuteronomy 28:1, NKJV).
